Abstract

무선 통신 장치를 이용한 교통 상황 데이터 제공 방법 및 상기 방법을 수행하는 내비게이션 장치가 개시된다. 내비게이션 장치는 사용자가 설정한 목적지까지의 이동 경로를 탐색하여 지도 데이터 상에 상기 이동 경로를 표시하는 이동 경로 표시부, 상기 이동 경로 상의 교통 상황 데이터의 제공 요청에 응답하여 무선 통신 장치를 통해 컨텐츠 관리 서버로부터 교통 상황 데이터를 수신하는 교통 상황 데이터 수신부 및 상기 수신한 교통 상황 데이터를 상기 사용자에게 제공하는 교통 상황 데이터 제공부를 포함한다.
