Abstract

The invention relates to new products hexakis- and heptakis- and octakis[bis(carboxymethyl)amino]-a- and -β- and -γ-cyclodextrin, their multimetal complexes and specifically the water soluble complexes with Gadolinium(IΙΙ) for use as contrast agents in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, due to remarkably enhanced relaxivity values measured in a magnetic field.
