Abstract

Με co-extrusion παράγονται συνθετικές πολυστρωματικές μεμβράνες (βλ. σκαρίφημα 2) ελεγχόμενου πάχους. Οι παραγόμενες μεμβράνες με την κατάλληλη συσκευή (σκαρίφημα 1, θέση Ι) κόβονται σε νήματα ελεγχόμενου φάρδους, που κατά περίπτωση προτονίζονται. Τα προτονισμένα ή μή πολυστρωματικά νήματα πλέκονται σε δικτυωτούς ιστούς (βλ. σκαρίφημα 1, θέση ΙΙ). Κατόπιν ακολουθεί η θερμική τους κατεργασία, κατά την οποία τα νήματα των ιστών θερμαίνονται και παράλληλα συμπιέζονται (βλ. σκαρίφημα 1, θέση ΙΙΙ). Οι θερμικά κατεργασμένες συμπιεσμένες στρώσεις των νημάτων είναι πλέον ομογενοποιημένες, τουλάχιστον στα κρίσιμα κομβικά σημεία των ενώσεων των πλεγμένων νημάτων του ιστού (βλ. σκαρίφημα 6, τομή Α-Α).
