Abstract
Water is conducted via accelerating hydro-turbines 2 from the artificial water-collecting dam created at the point 1 of the river to the pipe 3, in a parallel direction to the river bed. Given that the water of the river falls by 10 m/km, an artificial 50 metre fall of water may be obtained by use of a 5 km pipe 3; this fall of water provides sufficient kinetic energy capable of rising the water levelof the pipe 4 by 100 metres. From the pipe 4 the water is conducted to the vertical pipe 5 operating as an artificial waterfall converting the water dynamic energy due to height elevation into kinetic and conducting the water to the blades of the hydro-turbine 6 the shaft of which is connected to an electromotor converting the hydro-turbine rotation into electric current ready for consumption.
