Abstract

he invention includes description of the synthesis of minigastrin analogs coupled to 1,4,8,11-tetraazaundecane derivatives to enable labeling with technetium-99m (or other technetium radionuclides) or/and rhenium-188 (or other rhenium radionuclides) aiming toward their application in the targeted diagnostic imaging and staging of CCK-B/gastrin-R-positive neoplasms in man with SPECT ( technetium-99m), or PET (technetium-94m), or eventually in targeted radionouclide therapy (rhenium-188) Furthermore, the method for labelin minigastrin analogs modified with 1,4,8,11-tetraazaundecane derivatives with technetium-99m (or other technetium radionuclides) or/and rhenium-188 (or other rhenium radionuclides) is described. The invention includes alsothe radiochemical evaluation of the radiolabeled peptide cojugates obtained from the above steps. Eventually, the invention includes detailed preclinical biological evaluation of above analogs: - in CCK-B/gastrin-R-positive cell lines - in experimental animal models and study of their metabolism.
