Abstract

t is disclosed herein an angular joint meant for connecting the ends of aluminium profiles laterally sectioned to acquire the form of a precise angle, or for connecting other materials commonly used for the construction of rectangular sashes which,after being configurated, are filled with materials such as glass panes, shutters, screens etc, and installed onto frames of door and window openings. The proposed angular joint is composed of two parts whose linear contour is similar to an angle corresponding to the assembly angle of the connected profiles. The first part differs from the secondin dynamic behaviour because it constitutes a compact, firm and non-resilient base having two members engaging into the connection chambers of the profiles; said base is designed to serve as a sliding guide for the second part which is composed of the elastic metal lamella surrounding the compact firm base and characterized in that it the ends of the members are upwardly bent and parallel to the line passing from the assembly joint of the two profiles. At the tightening of a central screw, via a shackle passing through an indispensable hole of the profiles, the foregoing outwardly bent members of the metal lamella are wedged between the walls of the chambers connecting the two profiles which are, thereby, connected by the joint's automatic alignment due to the elasticity of the metal lamella and the symmetrical disposition, since the firm base, the moving part and the central screw have the same axis extending lengthwise the assembly joint of the two chambers.
