Abstract

Χειρουργικό μαχαιρίδιο που μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί σε χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις του καταρράκτη, και συγκεκριμένα για την εκτομή ενός τμήματος του προσθίου περιφακίου. Ο καψουλοτόμος είναι κυκλική (στρογγυλή) λάμα (σχήμα 3β) που έχει το χαρακτηριστικό ότι μπορεί να πτύσσεται και να τοποθετείται εντός του κυλίνδρου (26) (σχήμα 3α). Η λάμα του μαχαιριδίου (28) είναι τοποθετημένη εντός του κυλίνδρου (26) πτυσσόμενη γιατί πρέπει να περάσει πρώτα από τούνελ μικρής διατομής πριν εισέλθει στον πρόσθιο θάλαμο. Εισερχόμενος ο κύλινδρος (26) στον πρόσθιο θάλαμο το μαχαιρίδιο (28) εξέρχεται από τον κύλινδρο (26) από την μετατόπιση του εμβόλου (22) και με την βοήθεια των αντιδιαμετρικών ελασμάτων (24) λαμβάνει σχήμα κυκλικό (στρογγυλό (σχήμα 7) κόβοντας την μεμβράνη (32) του προσθίου περιφακίου κυκλικά με απλή επαφή. Για να εξέλθει από τον πρόσθιο θάλαμο το μαχαιρίδιο (28) πτύσσεται, επανατοποθετείται εντός του κυλίνδρου (26) και εξέρχεται από το τούνελ.Οι διάμετροι του μαχαιριδίου (28) κυμαίνονται από 3,5 χιλιοστά έως 9 χιλιοστά αυξανόμενες ανά μισό χιλιοστό, γι'αυτό υπάρχουν δώδεκα διαφορετικοί καψουλοτόμοι για να καλύψουν τις διαστάσεις αυτές. Με αυτό τον τρόπο έχουμε τη δυνατότητα επιλογής της διαμέτρου του μαχαιριδίου (28) ανάλογα με τη διάμετρο της μεμβράνης (32) που επιθυμούμε να κόψουμε. Η εξωτερική διάμετρος του κυλίνδρου (26) έχει τη δυνατότητα να κατασκευασθεί από 2 χιλιοστά έως 3 χιλιοστά για να μπορεί να εισέλθει ο κύλινδρος (26) από τούνελ 3,2 χιλιοστών διατομής ή και μικρότερης.ΰ
