Abstract
Η εφεύρεσις ασχολείται με την ανάλυση της περιεκτικότητας σε ορισμένα στοιχεία μέσα σε μία συνεχή ροή υλικών χύδην μορφής, κατόπιν βομβαρδισμού ουδετερονίων και μετρήσεως των ακτινοβολιών γάμμα που προέρχονται από τα στοιχεία τούτα, κατά τρόπον ώστε να επιτρέπεται η διάκρισις μεταξύ των ακτινοβολιών λήψεως και των ακτινοβολιών ενεργοποιήσεως. Σαν πηγή ουδετερονίων χρησιμοποιείται μία λυχνία παραγωγής ουδετερονίων 7 η οποία κινητοποιείται περιοδικά. Τα σήματα που παρέχονται από ένα μοναδικό ανιχνευτή ακτινοβολιών γάμμα 10 ?εωρούνται (εξετάζονται) αποκλειστικά μετά από τα σταματήματα της εκπομπής ουδετερονίων κατά τη διάρκεια χωριστών χρονικών διαστημάτων που αντιστοιχούν προς τα φαινόμενα της λήψεως και προς την ακτινοβολία των ενεργοποιημένων στοιχείων αντίστοιχα. Τα σχετικά σήματα υφίστανται επεξεργασία σε δύο χωριστές τροχιές μετρήσεως και κατόπιν τα αποτελέσματα συνδυάζονται αυτόματα. Μία τρίτη τροχιά μετρήσεως μπορεί να προβλέπεται για τις ακτινοβολίες γάμμα που προκύπτουν από ανελαστικές κρούσεις. Η πηγή 7 και ο ανιχνευτής 10 ενώνονται μέσα σε μια ερευνητική βολίδα 6 διευ?ετημένη στο εσωτερικό ενός προστατευτικού σωληνα 5 από πολυαι?υλένιο (τοπο?ετούμενου) στην καρδιά (κέντρο) της ροής υλικών 1. Η εγκατάσταση επιτρέπει την ανάλυση σημαντικών ροών ορυκτών προϊόντων χωρίς να γίνεται λήψις δειγμάτων, ιδίως στην βιομηχανία (εξορύξεως) του άν?ρακος, του τσιμέντου ή του αλουμινίου. ω
