Abstract
The invention relates to electrical engineering field, and can be used in electrical installations to protect single-phase power or measuring transformer from short-circuits up to 20 kV in transformer secondary winding, as well, to protect the transformer from overheating in the conditions of activation of protection from 0.3 amps. Technical result is a simplification of constructive execution of safing device, the absence of reaction to current changes caused by voltage surges, to eliminate consumer’s unwarranted cutting off, to produce information about actuation of device, and to increase safety. The device comprises a housing (1) in the form of tube with contact caps (2, 3), electromagnetic tripping mechanism (4), tripping mechanism controlling unit (5), trip-free release mechanism (6), and actuation indicator (7). Electromagnetic tripping mechanism (4) comprises magnetic conductor (8) and inductance coil (9) with magnetic core (10), and an armature (11). Tripping mechanism controlling unit (5) comprises resettable fuse (12) and variable resistor (13) connected in parallel. Trip-free release mechanism (6) comprises guide element (15), a bushing (16), opening spring (17), damping spring (18), and monofilament thread (19). s
