Abstract
1. Technical Result Increase in safety and reliability, simplification of the construction. 2. Essence There is provided for the interaction between a stationary equipment attached to the track including a magnetic field generating unit and an antenna mounted on the underside of the vehicle. The antenna is used to sense the time of entry into and the time of exit from the magnetic field generated by said unit, and by means of the mentioned the time taken by the vehicle to cross said zone is determined.
