Abstract

Vegetation is destroyed or its growth inhibited by applying to the foliage thereof or to the surface of soil or by incorporating into the soil as a post-emergence or pre-emergence treatment a compound of the formula <FORM:0998702/A5-A6/1> wherein X is oxygen or sulphur. The active ingredient may be used in the form of suspensions, dispersions, solutions, emulsions, powders and granules. Such compositions may contain non-soap or soap anionic surface-active agents and cationic or non-ionic surface-active agents.
