In a bracelet hollow links are positioned on a connecting chain 1 by pressing the links on to toothed surfaces of the outer links of the series of pivoted links 2 and 3 forming the chain. Instead of the links having toothed surfaces toothed inserts may be fitted between each outer pair of links 2 and 3. The links have a curvature 8 and are made of a soft metal, such as gold, to facilitate engagement with the teeth 6.
