An endless conveyer belt has pivot rods 10 of which end portions 101, after the rods have been threaded through adjacent pairs of links 111, 112 are cranked through 90 degrees. Pairs of the end portions 101 are in abutment and are embraced by a metal clip 12 having portions 122 which may be clenched inwardly to grip the outermost limb of the adjacent link 111 or 112. The links have recesses 113 for locating the clip portions 122.
