Abstract
991,255. Firing mechanisms. J. MARTIN. Feb. 12, 1963 [May 18, 1962], No. 19205/62. Heading F3C. [Also in Divisions B3, B4 and B7] In a drawline cutting device (Division B4), the blade 15 is moved by a piston 16 which can either be actuated by compressed air through an inlet 22 or by an explosive charge from a cartridge 28 fired by a pin 33 normally held in a retracted position by a sear 40. Specifications 862,552, 889,699 and 991,224 are referred to.
