Abstract

985,841. Drink dispensers. D, L. BEDOUET, and P. LARAMY. Jan. 7, 1963 [May 30, 1962; Dec. 22, 1962], No. 734/63. Heading A4T. [Also in Division G4] A beverage dispenser has a refrigerated container 2 from which the beverage is dispensed cold to a tap 4 or is dispensed to a container 9, in which a quantity of the beverage is kept hot, so that a corresponding amount of the hot beverage overflows from a tap 14. In Fig. 1 insertion of a coin in a slot 6 dispenses a quantity of beverage from tap 4 which is collected in a cup 7 if wanted cold. If wanted hot the beverage is allowed to run into a funnel 15 from which it flows into the hot container 9 to displace hot beverage by way of tap 14. In place of the funnel a two-way cock may be employed to direct the cold beverage to tap 4 or container 9. The two-way cock may be operated by a mechanical or electromagnetic link by members displaced by a cup when placed beneath the cold or hot taps - see Fig. 3, not shown.
