984,389. Moulding concrete. SKANSKA CEMENTGJUTERIET A.B. Jan. 1, 1963 [Jan. 13, 1962], No. 80/63. Heading B5A. In a method of casting concrete objects the mould comprises a lower longitudinal form 18 or a group of such forms and an upper movable form 4 which is mounted on a carriage 10 with a hopper 12 into which a deflecting element continuously directs concrete from a steel belt conveyer 3. An agitator 23 is located in the hopper 12 which has an opening 16 through which a vibrator may be inserted. The movable upper form 4 starts at one end and moves towards the other leaving the concrete still in a plastic state. An after-form or strickler 9 effects smoothing of the upper surface of the cast object or objects. The form or each form 18 is divided into sections by partitions, each comprising two spaced-apart discs clamped on to longitudinally extending reinforcing rods.
