Abstract

982,531. Vibratory sieves. SCHUCHTERMANN & KREMER-BAUM A.G. FUR AUFBEREITUNG. May 3, 1962 [June 9, 1961], No. 17087/62. Heading B2H. A vibratory screening machine comprises a plurality of base frames 1, 11 and screening frames 9, 99, means 2 for coupling together adjacent base frames and for co-operating with buffers 7 mounted on the screening frames, the means being rigidly secured to one and resiliently secured to the other of a pair of adjacent base frames and formed with an extension provided with a pair of abutment members 15 against which the buffers 7 can strike. The adjacent base frames are coupled by a flexible coupling mounted on a projection 10 of the means 2. The projection 10 carries an eyelet 4, constructed as a slotted clamping ring 12 with an intermediate rubber sleeve 13 enclosing a bearing bolt 14 on the frame 11. The means 2 is provided with a recess 6 to accommodate the members 15, and also carries springs 8 to support the screening frame 9.
