Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula <FORM:0981460/C2/1> and their acid addition salts with physiologically tolerable acids wherein R1 represents a C1-4-alkyl group and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and the preparation thereof either by hydrolysing an acyloxy derivative of the formula <FORM:0981460/C2/2> wherein R4 represents an acyl group, together with a modification of the process wherein, when both the groups R1 and R2 are methyl, the acyloxy derivative is prepared from an acyloxybenzyl halide and the hydrazine Me NHNHMe, or by reducing a hydrazine of the formula <FORM:0981460/C2/3> in the presence of a carbonyl compound R5R6CO wherein R5 and R6 may be the same o different and represent hydrogen atoms or groups which, when substituted in the residue CHR5R6, render it equivalent to the groups represented by R1.
