A coil lift, which is adapted to be inserted between adjacent turns of a coil spring, not shown, axially in relation thereto, comprises a clip 1 formed e.g. of spring steel and having two arms 3 shaped at 4 to receive the turns of a coil spring at the point at which the coil lift is to be inserted into the coil and to bear against two opposite ends of a resilient block 2, made e.g. of natural rubber, a face 7 of the block 2 bearing against an inwardly-projecting portion 8 of the clip 1.
