977,706. Lawn mowers. A. J. PYM. June 18, 1963 [June 18, 1962], No. 23353/62. Heading A1F. A lawn mower attachment for raising the grass to be cut comprises a spindle 12 mounted in front of the cutter 11 and carrying tines 14 each of which extends through a diametrical hole in the spindle and has one end bent part way around the spindle and the same end or the other end extending down to ground level. Rollers 15 are attached to the ends of the spindle which is arranged so that it can be rotated and locked in position by lock-nuts so that the tines can be adjusted.
