Abstract
A hollow cathode lamp for spectroscopic analysers contains a cathode made by sintering a powder mixture compact containing at least two elementary metals such as: Cu, Fe, Ni, Co, Cr, Au, Ag, Pd, Bi, Sb, Pb, Sn, Zn, Pt, Ta, Ti, Mo, Mn. Several examples are given of the sintering conditions for different powder mixtures.
