977,186. Vibratory mechanisms. E. HALILOVIC, B. RADISIC, and P. MILJKOVIC. May 3, 1963 [May 5, 1962], No. 17688/63. Heading F2X. A vibrator comprises a casing 1 containing a rotary frame 4 carrying unbalanced rollers 7, 9 which bear against the wall of the casing 1, the rollers having necks 11 supported in blocks 12 which are slidable in radial guides 5 in the frame 4. The rollers are of different diameters and have cut-out portions 10. Instead of being circular in cross-section they may be polygonal. A driving shaft 6 extends from the frame 4. In a modification, shown in Fig. 4, a single roller 14 having a diameter half that of the casing and a cut-out portion 15 which reduces its mass by half is used.
