977,110. Magnetic storage apparatus. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION. June 26,1963 [June 29, 1962], No. 25350/63. Heading H3B. [Also in Division H1] A crossed tube ferrite array is made by coating a ferrite material (see Division H1) on to a rayon fibre coated with polyethylene wax, winding the coated fibre on a former and heating to drive off the organic constituents and sinter the ferrite. Alternatively platinum wires may be used in place of the rayon, so that the platinum wires serve as conductors in the finished array.
