Abstract

976,492. Inductive signalling. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. April 4, 1963 [April 5, 1962], No. 13362/63. Heading H4U. In an inductive signalling system in which a station St2 movable along a predetermined path co-operates with a fixed station St1, the station St1 is provided with an elongated inductor arrangement L1 extending along the route and consisting of two loops connected in parallel, and the station St2 is provided with an inductor arrangement L2 consisting of two loops connected in series. Received signals circulating in opposite direction in the two loops of either arrangement will be added at the respective receiver but interference signals circulating in the same direction will cancel since the individual loops of the two stations are coupled together as indicated. Interference between neighbouring systems also is prevented. The pairs of loops of the two arrangements may be connected both in series or both in parallel.
