Abstract

A herbicidal composition for use in the culture of rice comprises 2,6-dichlorothiobenzamide in admixture with 2 - methyl - 4 - chlorophenoxy acetyl ortho chloro anilide and/or 2-methyl-4-chloro phenoxy acetic acid allyl ester. The composition may be in the form of a dust, granules, a wettable powder or an emulsifiable concentrate which may contain diluents, solvents, emulsifiers (e.g. anionic emulsifiers), spreaders, fertilizers or soil.
