Abstract

972,550. Vehicle bodies. YORK TRAILER CO. Ltd. Dec. 22, 1960 [Sept. 25, 1959], No. 44141/60. Divided out of 946,542. Heading B7B. In a trailer or semi-trailer having a box like body portion, the side and end walls are attached to corner posts comprising a curved exterior surface 2 and a right-angled bracket 16. The corner post is formed as a casting and is provided with grooves or sockets 8 and 10 and shoulders 12 and 14 for the reception and attachment of the side walls of the vehicle. The vehicle body may comprise lining sheets 18 and 20 attached to the bracket and to flanges 22 and 24 upon the corner posts, which may be used in the construction of the vehicle claimed in Specification 946,542.
