Abstract

970,102. Load-handling pallets. CERAMIC COMBUSTION & ENGINEERING CO. Nov. 19, 1962, No. 43590/62. Heading B8H. A pallet 10 for carrying bricks or like blocks itself consists of a plurality of the blocks 12, one layer 13 of which constitutes the platform and two or more rows 21 of which may be used as the bearers. The platform is held together by straps 14 and the bearers secured thereto by straps 20. Cushioning members, e.g. of corrugated cardboard, may protect the platform corners from damage by metal straps 14 and there is preferably a sheet 17 of like material sandwiched between the platform and bearers.
