[Also in Division G1] A reciprocating conveyer comprises a conveyer slide 6 and a control slide 10 which can be reciprocated relative to the conveyer slide by a pneumatic cylinder 1. In the relative position of the slides shown in Fig. 3, cam surface 15 on slide 10 causes a tongue 12 spring mounted on the slide 6 to project above the surface of this slide and engage an object R to be moved. On the return stroke of slide 10 the tongues 12 are retracted and slide 6 may slide freely beneath objects R.
