969,480. Oil-break switches; bushing insulators. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. April 19, 1961 [May 11, 1960], No. 16582/60. Headings H2B and H2C. [Also in Division H1] In a circuit-breaker or transformer housing having bushings 15 for leading conductors through the upper wall of the housing, the external portions of the bushings are directed away from one other whilst the internal portions 15a are straight and parallel to each other. The external portions may be arcuate as at 15b, or angled as at 15c. The bushings may have integral flanges 15d and be cast from synthetic resin. They may incorporate condenser foils.
