Abstract

An aerosol deodorant composition for air comprises a solution of one or more diesters of fumaric contained under pressure in a container and containing a pressurized propellant, e.g. compressed nitrogen or a halogenated hydrocarbon such as trichloro mono-fluoromethane and dichloro-difluoromethane. The deodorant may be in solution in the propellant or an alcohol, e.g. isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol or triethylene glycol, glycol or hydrocarbon. Specified esters are di-butyl, di-hexyl, di-geranyl, dibenzyl or a diaryl-fumarate.
