969,236. Air cushion vehicles. WESTLAND AIRCRAFT Ltd. June 28, 1962 [July 26, 1961], No. 722/64. Divided out of 969,235. Heading B7K. [Also in Division E2] Fastening means for releasably connecting two members 4, 13 comprising a band 14 on one of the members 13 and an element 11 attachable to the other member, the element having an elongated channel 12, the width of the mouth of which is less than the width of the head so that when the head is inserted lengthwise into the channel it is retained by the channel, and a recess 15 in the channel through which the head is inserted and withdrawn. As shown, the member 13 is a skirt, stability keel or side wall of a ground effect machine and the member 4 is a part of the structure or is another skirt. Specification 860,781 is referred to.
