A rosette for covering an aperture in a floor, wall &c. through which a pipe extends comprises a flexible plastic ring having a radial slit 3 the edges of the slit forming interlocking portions such as the capital omega shape shown. In the centre of the ring lips 2 protrude to grip the pipe, and the base of the ring contains ribs 1 which form a gluing surface, if necessary. The centre portion of the ring is arranged to be thicker than the outer edge portion. The ring is opened out, placed round the pipe and closed with the slit edges interlocking. The lips 2 grip the pipe to hold the rosette in position.
