Abstract

A method of coating a succession of articles of generally rectangular cross-section, e.g. refrigerator cabinets, connected in spaced relation by conveying means actuated at a substantially constant rate, the articles having vertical faces disposed substantially at right angles to their direction of travel, comprises spraying in sequence the front and rear faces, the side faces and the top and bottom faces while maintaining the orientation of the articles fixed relative to their direction of travel. The coating is done by apparatus described in Specifications 965,752, 965,753 and 965,755. Specification 887,340 also is referred to.
