Abstract
965,399. Magnetic blocks. M. E. WIDES. July 18,1963, No. 28479/63. Heading G5C. [Also in Division A6] A set of non-magnetic blocks for advertising purposes have magnetic inserts of local magnetic regions sprayed thereon and placed in locations which ensure correct adhesive alignment of the blocks. The magnet inserts may comprise a bar magnet 4 placed at any other position than through the centre of the block 2 so that one rotational position of a neighbouring block 1 or 3 gives adhesion while the blocks are correctly aligned with each other. An additional pair of magnetic surfaces 7,8 hold the blocks in the correct rotational position about the magnet 4.
