[Also in Division F2] An aerosol dispenser valve comprises a core member 10 providing a flow passage therethrough which includes a radial bore 11 opening out of the core, this core being embraced by a sealing member having a first flexible part 20 of generally tubular form engaging the core in the region of the bore 11 to seal it, and a second part 21 extending radially from one end of the first part, the arrangement being such that upon relative axial movement between the core and the second part of the sealing member, the tubular part 20 is distorted so as progressively to move out of engagement with the core to an increasing extent if its length, starting from said one end thereof, as the relative movement proceeds whereby to expose the end of the bore 11. The parts are assembled in a body 14, 17 of the dispenser which clamps the outer edge of the sealing member. In a modification, Fig. 2a, the radial part, 31, extends in a plane from the tubular part, 30, and engages, at an intermediate radial position, a fixed abutment 35 on depression of the core 10. In another modification, the tubular part 20 is thickened and has spaced annular grooves engaged over corresponding collars on opposite sides axially of the bore 11; on opening the valve the lower groove disengages the corresponding collar to expose the bore 11.
