Date Aug. 28, 1997A process for the preparation of a compound of formula I, wherein R1 and R2 are independently C1-6 alkyl, R3 is hydroxy and R4 and R5 are independently C1-6 alkyl is disclosed. The process comprises reacting a compound of formula II, wherein R1, R2 and R3 are defined as in formula I and X is a leaving group, with a compound of formula III, wherein R4 and R5 are independently C1-6 alkyl, in the presence of a base.
