[Also in Division F1] A hollow, compressible bulb a for fluid discharging apparatus such as sprays is moulded from synthetic plastic material and has formed integrally therewith a non-return inlet valve. The latter is provided by an inwardly extending projection d which is of spatulate shape with two of its opposite sides e flattened to produce a narrow ledge provided with a narrow slit. The bulb body is moulded in a two part mould g, h, the inlet valve being formed by a core j, k; the synthetic plastic material is inserted into the mould which after being closed is heated externally and then rotated. As moulded the bulb body is imperforate the narrow slit of the inlet valve and an outlet hole in a flat wall c of the body being subsequently formed in the latter.
