957,881. Attaching articles to wearing apparel and the person. UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION. May 28, 1962 [July 14, 1961], No. 20359/62. Heading A3H. [Also in Divisions B8 and E2] An identification badge 10 is detachably secured to a clip 11, Fig. 1, or to a strip 26, Fig. 3, by means of a pin 12 fixed to the badge 10 and having a head 21 of partcircular form, the pin 12 engaging in a slot 23 provided in the strip 26 or in one jaw member 14 of the clip 11 and the slot 23 having at one end an enlarged portion 24 corresponding in size and shape to the head 21 such that the head 21 can pass through the portion 24 only in one angular position of the strip 26 or jaw member 14 relative to the badge. The clip 11 has a spring associated with the pivot shaft 16 of its jaw members 14, 15 and ends 17, 18 shaped for gripping the upper edge of a pocket. The strip 26 is suspended by a chain 27 from the neck of a wearer or passes through a buttonhole in his clothing.
