954,933. Coating and lining moulds and cores. HUTTENWERK OBERHAUSEN A.G. Oct. 10, 1961 [Jan. 31, 1961], No. 36371/61. Heading B3F. The feed head of a mould 1 is lined by packing the lining material 3 around a former 2 inserted in the mould, the former having inflatable means 4 near its lower edge for closing the gap between the edge and the wall of the mould and wedging the former in position. CO 2 gas may be supplied through vents 6 in the former wall to harden the lining. The mould is then lifted from the former.
