Two jaws 60<SP>4</SP> and 60<SP>5</SP> are moved by pneumatic jacks O, P to close the mouth of a bag 61 and a blade 115 cuts tie 114 at the same time as a fork 116 grips the tie; the fork is withdrawn and rotated by screw 117 to twist the ends of the tie.
