A method of lining non-circular culverts comprises determining the radius of curvature of various parts of the cross-section of the culvert, preparing moulds having these radii to cast hollow cylinders which can be split into segments, spinning concrete in the moulds until set, separating the segments, and fitting appropriate segments to line the culvert. Segments C, C<SP>1</SP>, C<SP>2</SP> of radius r, r<SP>1</SP>, r<SP>2</SP> are fitted within the existing brickwork to leave a gap b which may be filled with grant.
