A power circuit-breaker is provided with a closing mechanism having a coupling member accessible from the outside of the circuitbreaker for the reception of the output shaft of a drive unit including an electric motor and reduction gearing. The drive unit may be of the type used for electric tools such as screwdrivers and may be used to charge the closing spring of the circuit-breaker.
