Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of formula: <FORM:0950145/C2/1> where R1 is alkyl, R2 is alkyl or alkoxy and R is alkoxycarbonyl, aminocarbonyl, N-alkyl-aminocarbonyl, N, N-dialkylaminocarbonyl, cyano or thiocyano, the alkyl and alkoxy groups having up to 5 carbon atoms each. They may be obtained by reacting a phenol R-C6H4-OH, either as a salt or along with an acid binding agent, with a compound R1R2P(S)Hal. A solvent may be used and elevated temperatures are preferred. The products are pesticides (see Division A5).ALSO:Pesticidal compositions comprise an organo-phosphorus compound of formula <FORM:0950145/A5-A6/1> where R1 is alkyl, R2 is alkyl or alkoxy and R is alkoxycarbonyl, aminocarbonyl, N-alkyl-amino-carbonyl, N,N-dialkylaminocarbonyl, cyano or thiocyano, the alkyl and alkoxy groups having up to 5 carbon atoms each (for preparation see Division C2) along with a solid or liquid carrier. Emulsions are specified. Other insecticides and/or fertilizers may be present.
