Abstract
948,985. Fuel cells. ALLIS-CHALMERS MANUFACTURING CO. Jan. 15, 1962 [Feb. 2, 1961], No. 1385/62. Drawings to Specification. Heading H1B. A liquid fuel cell bipolar electrode comprises a suitable carrier plate with different fuel and oxidant catalysts oonductively adhered to opposite sides of the plate. Pt, Pd, Ir, Os, Rh, Ru may be used on the fuel side and Ag, Co, Ni or mixtures of the oxides of Ag, Co, Ni and Fe are used for the oxidant. The construction and arrangement of the electrodes is as disclosed in Specification 948,984.
