944,404. Determining relative quantities of fluid mixture constituents. EDELEANU G.m.b.H. Aug. 3, 1962 [Aug. 3, 1961], No. 30022/62. Drawings to Specification. Heading G1N. The dielectric constant of a sample of a suspension of a solid in a liquid is continuously measured in order to monitor the concentration of the suspension. The method is applied to determining the concentration of solid adduct formed between urea and an n-paraffin during the isolation of n-paraffin in hydrocarbon mixtures. The suspension from a tank including a stirrer is pumped through a polyethylene tube having metal sleeve electrodes and returned to the top of the tank. The electrical circuit includes a power source, an indicator, and a zeroing potentiometer.
