944,270. Binding rolls. ABBEY ETNA MACHINE CO. Nov. 5, 1962, No. 41776/62. Heading B3E. In a tube mill having sets of co-operative feed and forming rolls 14 and 18 for progressively shaping a ribbon of sheet metal into tubular form and advancing the same, and in which one of the rolls of each set has a central driven feed section 22 and independently rotatable end flange sections 23 and 24 mounted on a driven shaft, each end section is provided with a sleeve 26 which is keyed to the driven shaft 19 and which supports roller thrust bearings 29 and 30 on which the end section rotates, a lubricant cavity 40 being formed between seals 38 and 39 and having a sealable conduit 41 to allow the introduction of a lubricant.
