[Also in Division G4] Amusement apparatus comprises a seat-carrying body mounted on a supporting arm mounted at one end on a movable member and carrying a roller which moves along a track when the arm is moved by the movable member, the track being such that an up and down movement is given to the arm. As described, a horse is detachably secured to a pair of rods 12 upstanding from a link 13 pivotally mounted on a movable arm 16 and carrying a pair of rollers 22 arranged to run on inclined tracks 23. The arm 16 is coupled to a crank 26 secured to crank-shaft 27 driven by an electric motor 31. A timing wheel 33 driven by friction by shaft 27 has a laterally projecting peg 33 arranged to engage an arm 38 to operate switch 41 to break the circuit of the motor after one revolution. The apparatus is operated by a coin inserted in slot 42 which trips switch 46 to render operative the motor circuit. A further switch 47 arranged in the circuit is operated by rod 48 under the control of a child sitting on the apparatus to complete the circuit. A relay 51 with control 52 is provided, whereby the apparatus can be stopped at any time by a person other than the rider. The track member may be formed with a concave, convex or wavy surface or may be pivotally mounted and means may be provided for oscillating it. The movable member may also be carried by a platform which is arranged for oscillation in upward and downward direction.
