943,437. Flexible shafts. A. C. COSSOR Ltd. Oct. 23, 1962 [July 26, 1961], No. 27135/61. Heading F2U. A flexible shaft for use with potentiometers &c. comprises a multi-strand helically wound steel wire shaft 10 with connectors 11, 12 moulded directly on to its two ends, the connectors being formed with non-circular sockets 14, 15 to receive correspondingly-shaped spindle ends. The connectors 11, 12 are made of polypropylene and a sleeve 13 of polyvinylchloride surrounds the shaft 10.
