Abstract

White mineral oil is stabilized against the deleterious effects of exposure to sunlight by addition thereto of zinc 2-ethylhexoate, preferably in an amount from 0.005 to 0.1% by weight. The oil may have a viscosity of not more than 170 S.S.U. at 100 DEG F., and in the example has a viscosity of 70 S.S.U.
