Abstract

941,322. Agricultural implements. ETABLISSEMENTS P. VIAUD & CIE S.A. Feb. 9, 1960 [May 16, 1959], No. 4583/60. Heading A1B. A reversible plough comprises a plough beam 9 rotatable in a body 1 connected to a three point linkage of a tractor, the upper link 12 being attached to a lever 2 having a hook 3 which engages an abutment on a link 4 pivoted to a lever 5 which is attached to a cross-member 7 on which are mounted catches 8 which are arranged to selectively engage a stop 11. To reverse the plough it is raised on the linkage and the stop is disengaged from the catch 8. As the upper link 12 is in tension the lever 2 is moved clockwise to turn the plough, the momentum being sufficient to raise the link 4 clear of the hook 3. When the plough is lowered by the linkage the hook 3 will again engage the link 4.
